Buying a Painting
Paintings are offered for sale through personal contact and online.
I have always sold my paintings through exhibitions, personal contact and recommendation. This will continue to be the case.
Online is a new venture for me and I feel that it is the best interest of me and a potential buyer to have the best, safest method available. To this end I am using Galleries Online.
Galleries Online
The process is as follows:
- A limited number of my works are available at Galleries Online
- Click on the red link to visit Galleries Online now.
- If there is a painting you like on this site, but it is not on Galleries Online, contact me directly and I will upload it to Galleries Online.
- You express an interest in the painting to Galleries Online.
- Galleries Online ask me to confirm that it is still available.
- You pay Galleries Online.
- I send you the painting - I pay for the postage and insurance.
- When you receive the painting you have a ten-day approval period.
- If you are happy with the painting, the money is released by Galleries Online to me.
- If you are unhappy with the painting, you are reponsible for the cost of shipping the painting back to me.
- Once I have received the artwork, Galleries Online provide a full refund to you (this does not include the cost of returning the artwork back to me).
This seems to me to be safe and sensible for all concerned.
The Saatchi Gallery
You may also view my works at the Saatchi Gallery. It will be possible to purchase paintings using PayPal in the future, but I think that Galleries Online are offering the best system for buyers.
